Protestors had an apparent change of heart and withdrew from their occupation of College Hall.
Unfortunately, there was an alleged act of vandalism during the takeover, in which a window was broken.
I STRONGLY condemn this!
Many others have the same sentiment as I do: There might be a war of words being played out on the internet and in the media but damage or destruction of Gallaudet University property is anathema!!! It goes against what we are protesting for…to SAVE Gallaudet!
I strongly urge the protestors involved in this matter to immediately turn in the individual responsible for breaking the window of College Hall.
Otherwise, the adminstration WILL take advantage of this and WILL make the ENTIRE protest look bad.
By turning in the vandal, the protestors will show their true commitment to Gallaudet!
TURN THE VANDAL IN TO DPS OR DC POLICE IMMEDIATELY!
