The Washington Post Online is reporting that the Board of Trustees will meet on Sunday, October 29th, that is, if they can ensure the security that is needed, according to Brenda Brueggenman.
Security?! Apparently, Brenda’s afraid of those shooting threats, anarchists and terrorists that Jane has been babbling about lately.
Excuse the cliches but if the Board does meet, this will be a pivotal moment, a moment where the die will be cast, where the tide may turn, where fates will collide with an iceberg…oh, wait, that last one was from Titanic, sorry.
Either way, it’ll be a momentous event.
PI will be watching anxiously.

Uh, her fear may be the result of harassing phone calls from complete strangers thanks to the personal info you posted on RidorLive, you think? Although I can’t imagine the deaf community hurting a flea, you might be able to empathize with people who are under such intense pressure and anger to change their minds, such that they start to become paranoid. Not good…for anyone.

You raise a good point, cyansquirrel.
The FSSA has already publicly requested that the release of personal information of certain key players in the administration should cease and I have abided by their wishes out of respect for their goals.
However, I don’t think the security issue revolves around the public release of their personal information. Instead, I truly do believe that Fernandes’ and IKJ’s comments (references to anarchy, terrorism, death threats, etc.) publicly and privately to the BoT, has resulted in the Board erroneously believing that their personal safety is at risk as well.
You yourself said that you can’t imagine the deaf community hurting a flea…I feel the same way.
Unfortunately, IKJ and Fernandes have NOT been giving this impression at all.
But I am dying to know one thing though:
IS PAUL KELLY BUCKLING UP?!
